Latest Episode: Salman Khan Opens the Final Season
Salman Khan takes the first seat on Karan Johar's famous couch for the Season 9 premiere. His appearance is a major attraction for viewers, bringing one of Hindi cinema's biggest stars into the show's farewell season.
The promotional clip teases the familiar combination of teasing questions, witty exchanges, and candid conversation. It also revisits the show's reputation for asking celebrities direct questions about their personal lives.
Among the moments highlighted in the promotion is Karan's question to Salman about his relationship history, continuing the playful and sometimes provocative style associated with the programme.
The episode also brings attention to topics such as celebrity privacy, online trolling, and the changing relationship between stars and paparazzi.
Because Salman is the opening guest of the final season, his appearance carries added significance. It gives the show a high-profile start while reminding viewers of the many headline-making conversations that have defined its long television and streaming history.
Why Is Koffee with Karan Season 9 the Final Season?
Karan Johar has confirmed that the ninth season will be the last. The announcement marks the end of a programme that debuted in 2004 and became one of India's best-known celebrity interview shows.
In discussing his decision, Johar has said he wants to focus more on directing films and telling stories over the next phase of his career. The decision is personal, bringing a close to a project that has been closely associated with his public identity.
Across its run, the show has featured major actors, filmmakers, star families, and emerging entertainers. Its interviews have frequently moved beyond the programme itself, generating headlines, online debates, and viral clips.
The final season therefore serves two purposes: it introduces a new set of conversations and gives long-time viewers an opportunity to revisit the show's legacy.
Koffee with Karan Season 9 Guest List
One of the biggest attractions of every season is its guest lineup. For the farewell edition, reports have pointed to a mix of Bollywood superstars, celebrity couples, younger actors, and prominent filmmakers.
The following names have been reported in connection with the season. Not every pairing or appearance should be treated as officially confirmed, as some guest combinations were still being finalised in media reports.
