Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited action thriller King is once again grabbing attention online, this time over an alleged teaser leak. A clip claiming to be the upcoming film’s teaser has reportedly surfaced on social media, leaving fans wondering whether they have received an early glimpse of the highly anticipated project.
The alleged leaked footage is being discussed for its high-energy action sequences, with Shah Rukh Khan reportedly seen in an intense and powerful avatar. The clip has quickly generated curiosity among fans who have been waiting for a major official glimpse of the film.
However, there is no official confirmation from the makers that the viral footage is the actual King teaser. With fan-made edits, promotional material and AI-generated videos becoming increasingly common, the authenticity of such clips needs to be treated with caution.
What Does the Alleged King Leak Show?
According to claims circulating online, the purported teaser features Shah Rukh Khan in a larger-than-life action setting. The actor is said to be seen performing intense action sequences, adding to the expectations surrounding the film.
The footage has attracted attention because King is being positioned as a major action entertainer from director Siddharth Anand, who has previously worked on large-scale action films.
The makers have also faced leak-related problems during the production of the movie. Earlier in 2026, footage from the film’s shoot reportedly appeared online, while an AI-generated fan edit using leaked material and other visuals also went viral. The situation reportedly prompted the team to strengthen security around the production.
Official King Teaser Is Still Awaited
While the alleged clip is creating noise online, the official teaser appears to be on a separate track.
Recent reports suggest that a 45-second promotional video for King has received CBFC certification. The promo is reportedly being considered for a theatrical screening alongside Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana: Rise of a Legend.
Several reports have also indicated that the official King teaser could arrive on November 2, 2026, which coincides with Shah Rukh Khan’s 61st birthday. The date, however, has not been officially confirmed by the filmmakers.
Shah Rukh Khan Promises Big Action in King
The excitement around the alleged leak comes at a time when expectations for King are already extremely high.
Shah Rukh Khan previously indicated that the film’s action is going to be on a major scale. Responding to a fan question, the actor said that the action is “very big” and praised Siddharth Anand for the work put into it. He also pointed out that the film will not rely only on action, with emotions and comedy also playing an important role.
The film is expected to mark Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after Dunki, which released in 2023.
When Will King Release?
King is currently scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 24, 2026. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
The movie has been among the most closely watched Bollywood projects of the year, with Shah Rukh Khan leading the cast alongside Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Is the Leaked King Teaser Real?
At present, the alleged leaked teaser should not be treated as official.
The viral clip may contain genuine material, but there is no confirmed statement from the production team establishing that it is the final official teaser. Fans should therefore be careful before assuming that every video circulating online represents the actual promotional cut.
With the official campaign reportedly moving closer to launch, audiences may not have to wait much longer for a legitimate first look at the film.
For now, the alleged leak has only added to the curiosity surrounding King, while the official teaser remains one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the coming weeks.
