For a group consisting of three papers of 100 marks each, a candidate generally needs at least 40 marks in every paper and 150 marks out of 300 in total. What Happens After the CA Intermediate Result 2026?
The next step depends on your result. Whether you pass both groups, clear one group or need another attempt, you can plan your next move accordingly..
If You Pass Both Groups
Congratulations! Clearing both groups is a significant milestone in your CA journey. Check the applicable ICAI requirements and complete the formalities for the next stage of your course.
If You Pass One Group
Passing one group is still an achievement. Review your marks and prepare a focused study plan for the remaining group. Concentrating on weaker subjects can help you prepare more effectively for your next attempt.
If You Do Not Clear a Group
Not getting the result you expected can be disappointing, especially after months of preparation. Take some time to review your performance and identify the subjects that need more attention. Check ICAI's official website for information about the next examination session, registration deadlines and applicable procedures. One result does not define your entire CA journey. Use the experience to identify areas for improvement and prepare for your next opportunity..
